Dara Choy, B.Ed., C.I.D.
Dara is a former teacher and the past-president of the Edmonton Chapter of Tourette Canada. Since 2009, she has provided over 100 in-services for schools, community groups, workplaces and classrooms, and has a passion for helping others dealing with neurological disorders. A program designed to help parents and caregivers become aware of their children’s needs. Over the 6 weeks, parents learn to understand and interpret behaviour issues and respond appropriately. As observational skills increase so does the confidence parents and caregivers have in responding to the needs and in helping their children build a strong emotional foundation by teaching them to manage their emotions.
