The first 12 months of a baby’s life and your new life are a time of rapid change. Triple P For Baby is a 7 week program for parents at the transition to parenthood or with a baby up to 12 months of age. Dinner and information for pregnant women and their partners.

An evening for first time pregnant women and their support partners. Following a light supper, the group will explore topics on how to prepare yourselves to welcome a baby. These include:

  • Mental health challenges pre and post natal and setting realistic expectations
  • Actual preparation – what do you really need to care for a baby
  • How will your dynamic change – honour all roles in the child’s life
  • Communication – managing expectations

Pre-Registration is required.

 

An evening for first time pregnant women and their support partners.  Following a light supper, the group will explore topics on how to prepare yourselves to welcome a baby.  These include:

The focus of this presentation will be on discussing a specific struggle that can occur during the Perinatal Period, called Scary Thoughts or “Secrets Mothers Keep”.

This workshop will break down what Scary Thoughts are, how to recognize them, how to cope with them, and when to access professional supports.
