Grief can be an overwhelming experience for children, and it is crucial to provide them with the necessary support.
Facilitated by Harmony Nimchuk, Registered Provisional Psychologist, the support group will help children manage their grief through emotion mapping while teach them useful ways to cope.
This is a FREE group for children 8 – 10 years of age.
This is a partnership with Family Life Psychology & Wellness, Parkland County FCSS, Town of Stony Plain, and The City of Spruce Grove and made possible by the funding received from The Children’s Grief Foundation of Canada.

 

If you are pregnant for the first time or have a new baby up to 12 months old and are looking for more information on having a healthy pregnancy, delivery and the care and nutrition of infants – this group is for you.

Each week there is a group lunch followed by a learning session with community experts.

We provide the space and supplies and parents/caregivers and their children explore through fun activity centers designed to enhance learning and build skills. The activities in this program are developmentally appropriate for children aged 2-5.
